The Amazing Underwater Forest of Lake Kaindy
What makes Lake Kaindy truly remarkable is that it contains an underwater forest. Visible on the lakes surface are the tall, dried-out tops of submerged Spruce trees that rise above the water’s surface like the masts of sunken ships. They are the only sign of the amazing frozen forest below the water’s surface.
The water is so cold (even in summer the temperature does not exceed 6 degrees) that the pine needles remain on the trees, even after a hundred years of being submerged. During the winter, the lake freezes and becomes a popular spot for ice diving.
The lake is 400 meters long and is located in Kazakhstan’s portion of the Tian Shan Mountains, about 129 km from the city of Almaty. The lake was created after an earthquake in 1911 triggered a large landslide blocking the gorge and forming a natural dam.

i should of been dead i want to be dead……. more than half the time i think of nothing else than whats on the other side…. mainly because everything here is a waste a facade of one lie bleeding into the other.All i want out of this life is to be able to speak freely amongst everyone and anyone yet in the land of the free and the home of the brave i feel the most imprisoned self centered and needy none of which i am but am precieved….i am starting to think those that ended their life or have passed have begun a true mission only you and a few share to me i could careless if i did die by the hands of myself or another i am truly disappointed in the world the mentally and the generation of people here and become fed up with expectations and have reached a new plato… in which i do not please anything nor person i am an empty vessel of flesh rotting away by the second awaiting the change of physical life into the unknown
